As part of Ballet Northwest’s 50th anniversary celebration, the company is proud to present Crescendo with members of the Olympia Symphony. This exciting program will feature a suite of dances from the famous Russian ballet La Bayadere, the world premiere of Gershwin’s An American in Paris choreographed by Eugene Ballet’s resident choreographer Suzanne Haag, Ravel’s Bolero choreographed by South African choreographer Joanne Holbrook, and Vivaldi’s exquisite Four Seasons juxtaposing classical and contemporary choreography.
Staging an evening of premieres with live music is a big undertaking, so Ballet Northwest is asking for your help to make it possible. BNW is embarking in a $20,000 fundraising campaign to make this project possible. Donations may be made in honor or memory of someone, and can be broken out into four monthly payments.
