Make a donation to Ballet Northwest’s $100,000 fundraising campaign for The Bud and Mary Johansen Studio!
Ballet Northwest is an anchor tenant of the newly renovated Olympia Arts and Wellness Building, a 24,000 square foot building in downtown Olympia. BNW is raising funds to build out the Bud and Mary Johansen Studio, a 2,700 square foot state-of-the-art studio named after BNW’s longtime director and his wife. The studio will feature brand new high-quality Harlequin sprung and vinyl flooring, new lighting, updated HVAC systems, and removal of the dropped ceiling. Company dancers will have a dedicated space adjacent to this studio for warming up, doing homework, eating a snack, or spending time with dance friends between rehearsals. BNW’s costume shop will feature warm and bright spaces to build and store costumes, props, and headpieces. The Arts & Wellness building will also be home to Olympia Dance Center, Masterworks Choral Ensemble, Olympia Youth Chorus, Olympia Junior Programs, and wellness professionals such as massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and more.
You can make a one-time gift or pledge over 10 months to help make this dream a reality! All donations up to $10,000 given before November 21 will be matched by an anonymous donor!
