Oregon Ballet Theatre 2

Oregon Ballet Theatre 2 (OBT2) participants perform and rehearse classical and contemporary choreography from the repertoire of Oregon Ballet Theatre. OBT2 provides rigorous training and performance experience to facilitate the transition from student to professional dancer in a small, nurturing environment. OBT2 presentations offer new audiences a chance to not only experience the art form, but to go behind-the-scenes and learn what it’s like to stage a ballet and to be a dancer.

Don Quixote

Premiered by BNW in 2015, this Spanish-themed ballet is fun for the whole family, featuring a colorful cast of characters including the knight Don Quixote, leaping toreadors, mysterious gypsies, and the young couple in love, Kitri and Basilio. This comic-filled ballet includes beautiful sets and costumes, and one of the most famous duets in the world, the Act III wedding pas de deux.
