Eugene Ballet’s “Mowgli”

Experience the spirited adventures of Mowgli as he befriends and grows up with Baloo the Bear, and battles the larger-than-life Shere Khan the Tiger and Kaa the Snake. An exotic retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s stories enjoyed by all ages, with fanciful costumes, masks, sets and world music that creates the magic of young Mowgli’s life in the jungle.

The Nutcracker

A South Sound tradition for over three decades, this year’s production will feature all-new sets for the Snow and Land of Sweets scenes! Join Clara and her Nutcracker on this magical journey featuring over 200 dancers.

Olympia Dance Festival

Now in its 9th year, the Festival features over a dozen local dance groups in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, hip-hop, Irish, ballroom, Middle Eastern, and Chinese dance. Guest artist Melinda Sullivan, a tap dancer featured on “So You Think You Can Dance” rounds out the program.

Swan Lake

Ballet Northwest’s season concludes with this haunting classic, featuring the enchanting swan corps, the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart, the beautiful white swan queen Odette, and the alluring black swan Odile.
